Student-teacher Fellowship

Student-teacher, Associate, Licentiate, and Fellowship examinations.

Level	Requirements
Student Teacher	Candidates must be 16 years of age or over. While successful candidates do not gain a qualification in the ISTD, they may attend professional courses and congresses. Successful candidates are not eligible to take part in amateur medallist competitions except for partnering. They may however take amateur examinations at student-level in genre other than that in which they hold their Student-teacher.
Associate	Candidates must be 17 years of age or over.
Licentiate	Candidates must be 21 years of age or over and have occupied a responsible position as a teacher of dancing for at least 2 years.
Fellowship	Candidates must have held the Licentiate degree of the Faculty concerned for at least three years.

The assessment of each examination is based on practical demonstrations and oral explanations of theory.
