Aims and objectives

Whether you are a student looking towards a teaching career, or an established teacher wishing to upgrade your qualifications, Marion Lane provides training and continued professional development in Latin American; Modern Ballroom; Classical Sequence; Disco Freestyle and Rock ‘n’ Roll.

To achieve this aim, we are guided by four key objectives:

1. To promote each of the Dancesport genres, thus providing vocational students with maximum future opportunities within the employment sector.
2. To remain closely aligned to the profession as a whole, drawing upon and reflecting the theoretical and artistic content of the various syllabi.
3. To retain a progressive outlook by keeping pace with developments in all areas of Dance Sport education, as it evolves.
4. To monitor all our teaching programmes, thereby ensuring optimum training standards to our students.
